Editing a Route

How to add, reorder or remove stops from a route

If you want to add, reorder or remove stops from a route, you can easily do so on the Edit Routes page.

1. Select Routes from the navigation menu. 

2. On the Routes page, find the route you want to edit, and click the Edit Route icon.

3. On the Edit Route page, change the Route Name as desired.

4. If you want to change the Tester for this route, select that name from the dropdown list.

5. Update the following filters as desired:

  • Filter by commit date: To see stops by scheduled commit dates, select an option from the dropdown list; leave All to see all stops.

  • Filter by water purveyor: To see stops assigned to a specific purveyor, select an option from the dropdown list; leave All to see stops for all purveyors.

  • Filter by type: To filter stops by Tests or Retests, select an option from the dropdown list; leave All to see all stops.

Note: Purveyors will also see Surveys in this list.

6. Click on any of the links to go to the section below to:


Add Stops

Add stops to this route by:

  • Clicking on a map pin

  • Dragging and dropping from the Available Stops section to the Selected Stops section

To add stops in a specific order, do one of the following:

  • Click on each map pin in the order you want to set up the route. The next map pin that you click is added as the next stop on the route.

  • Click on each stop in the list of Available Stops in the order you want to set up the route. The next stop that you click is added as the next stop on the route.


Reorder Stops

Find the stop you want to reorder and then do one of the following:

  • Click the up/down arrows to move it to the position you want in the route

  • Click and drag it up or down to the position you want in the route, and then let it go 


Remove Stops

Find the stop you want to remove from this route in the Selected Stops section, and then click it, or drag and drop it to move it to the list of Available Stops
