There are two ways you can test a route from the Testing Routes page:

  • Test Now: Click to see tests stop by stop
  • Show Route: Click to scroll through a list of all stops the tests at each one

Test Now

Clicking Test Now takes you to the On Route page, which lists all of the stops on this route. 

1. Click Go to First Stop.
2. On the next On Route page, do one of the following:

  • Click Test to test an assembly. Enter test results as you normally would. Repeat this step until you have tested all assemblies at this stop.
    Note: Click here for more information about testing an assembly.  
  • Click Test New Device to add a new assembly and then test it. Add assembly information as you normally would, and then save. Enter test results as you normally would. Repeat this step to add another new assembly and enter test results.
    Note: Click here for more information about adding a backflow assembly. 

3. Click Go to next stop.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 until you have finished testing assemblies for this route.
5. Click Go To Final Review.

6. Click OK in the popup window to continue. 

This route will now be moved to the Completed Routes section on the Testing Routes page.

Show Route

Clicking Show Route takes you to the Route page, which shows all of the stops on this route on one page. 

1. On the Route page, scroll down to the first stop at which you want to start testing.
2. Do one of the following: 

  • Click Test Device to test an existing backflow assembly. Enter test results as you normally would. Repeat this step until you have tested all assemblies on this route.
    Note: Click here for more information about testing an assembly.  
  • Click Test New Device to add a new backflow assembly and then test it. Add assembly information as you normally would, and then save. Enter test results as you normally would. Repeat this step to add another new assembly and enter test results.

3. Scroll to the next stop and repeat step 2; do this until you have finished testing the entire route.
4. Click Finish Route near the top of the page.

5. Click OK in the popup window to continue. 

This route will now be moved to the Completed Routes section on the Testing Routes page.
