Overview
After a customer and backflow assembly have been added to Syncta, you can schedule the assembly to be tested. There are a couple of different places to do this: from a Customer page or from the Search results page. Click on the desired link to go to the applicable section below:
Schedule a Test From a Customer Page
1. On a Customer page, scroll down to the Assemblies section of the related service location.
2. For each service location, select the individual tests that you want to schedule or click the check box at the top of the Assemblies list to select all tests.
3. Click Schedule Selected Assemblies at the bottom of the page.
4. On the Schedule Tests page, fill in the following:
Commit Date: Select the date you want to schedule selected tests.
Internal Comment: Add internal comments as needed.
Set Tester for All: To use the same tester on all tests, select their name from the dropdown list; leave blank to choose a tester for each test.
Set Route for All: To set the same route for all tests, select the route name from the dropdown list; leave blank to choose a route for each test.
NOTE: This option will only appear if you have the Routes feature. See our article about the Routes page to learn more.
5. Fill in the following information for each test:
Price: Select a price from the dropdown list.
NOTE: This field will only appear for testing companies.
Tester: Select a tester's name from the dropdown list.
Route: Select a route name from the dropdown list.
NOTE: This option will only appear if you have the Routes feature. See our article about the Routes page to learn more.
6. When you're finished, click Schedule Tests.
The scheduled tests are now added to a route, which can be seen on the Routes page.

Schedule a Test From the Search Page
You can also schedule a test from the Search page.
1. Click in the Search area at the top of any page in Syncta.
2. On the Search page, select Assemblies from the Results Type dropdown list.
3. Click Refresh.
4. Check the box next to each assembly that you want to schedule, and then click Schedule Tests for Selected Assemblies.
NOTE: You can also select all assemblies by checking Select Assemblies From All Pages at the bottom of the page.
5. Follow steps 4-6 of the previous section to fill in the Schedule Tests page.
