Testers know that assembly serial numbers sometimes get scratched off or are hard to read. Our Syncta ID is a unique identifier for each assembly, giving you another way to locate an assembly, making it easier to submit your test results. For water purveyors, the Syncta ID is created anytime you add a new backflow assembly. The following example shows the Syncta ID for a newly created assembly on a customer's page.

If your testers use the submission portal, the Syncta ID is automatically created for any assemblies that are sent over from Syncta. A Syncta ID will also be created if an external testers adds a new assembly in the portal. The following example shows the Syncta ID on the Pending Tests page of a submission portal.
