Using One Customer Signature on Multiple Tests and Surveys

How to have your customer sign once for multiple tests and surveys

Overview

If this feature has been activated on the Company Options page, a customer only needs to sign once for multiple tests and surveys (for water purveyors) at the same service location. Your customer can provide a signature on either the Perform Test page or on a Service Location page. If you are a water purveyor, your customer can also provide a signature on the Surveys page. Each scenario is covered below.

Add a Customer Signature on the Perform Test Page

1. Open the Customer page related to the tests you want to complete at a service location.

2. Scroll to the blue service location section and click the Test Assembly icon for the first assembly you want to test.

3. On the Perform Test page, fill in test results as usual.

4. In the Customer Signature section, have the customer sign in the New Signature box.

5. To use this signature on other tests and surveys (as applicable), check the Copy customer signature to service location box.

6. Add attachments and invoice line items as needed, and then click Save Test or Complete Test.

Now, when you perform a test or survey, this signature will automatically be added to any Perform Test or Surveys page for this location.


Add a Customer Signature on the Service Location Page

1. Open the Customer page related to the service location for which you want to add a signature.

2. Scroll to the blue service location you want to open, and click Edit.

3. On the Edit Service Location page, scroll to near the bottom of the page.

4. In the Customer Signature section, have the customer sign in the New Signature box.

5. Click Update Service location to save this signature.

Now, when you perform a test or survey, this signature will automatically be added to any Perform Test or Surveys page for this location.


Add a Customer Signature on the Surveys Page

1. Open the Customer page related to the service location for which you want to add a signature.

2. Scroll to the green service location you want to open and click +New Survey.

3. On the Surveys page, conduct the survey as usual.

4. In the Customer Signature section, have the customer sign in the New Signature box.

5. To use this signature on other surveys and tests, check the Copy customer signature to service location box.

6. Add attachments as needed, and then click Complete Survey.

Now, when you conduct a survey or perform a test, this signature will automatically be added to any Perform Test or Surveys page for this location.
