What to do if you can't test an assembly because another company is currently testing it

Syncta's purveyor submission portal prevents two different testing companies from testing the same assembly at the same time. If one testing company is currently testing an assembly and another testing company tries to test that assembly at the same time, the submission portal will prevent them from doing so.

If this occurs, the tester will see a message at the top of the page that another company is currently testing the assembly.

If a tester receives this message, they need to inform the purveyor that this test is currently locked. The purveyor will then decide if they want the first company currently testing the assembly to continue testing it, or if they want to allow the second company to test it instead. If they choose to allow the second company to test it, the purveyor will unlock this test in their system. Once the test is unlocked, the second company can then test the assembly as usual.
